Welcome to our 2024-2025 Academic Year at NPI!

Dear Members, Faculty, Candidates, Friends & Supporters of NPI:

As the 2023-2024 Academic Year comes to a close, we reflect with deep gratitude, the dedication of many to NPI’s growth. With that, we introduce The Newport Psychoanalytic Institute Memorial Fund.

Previously named after Sandy Russell, a respected senior candidate at NPI, who enriched our community until her passing in 1993, the fund now honors her memory along with other esteemed individuals like William Erwin, Warren Procci, Gail Libman, Virginia Hunter, Piper Glasier, Sharon Bassett, Terry Cochran, Judith Taylor, Jeanne York, Jean Dzierzynski, and others. Their contributions have left a lasting impact on our institute.

Our psychoanalytic community has a rich history of generosity and commitment to rigorous training. While volunteers continue to play crucial roles within NPI, we recognize the invaluable contributions of those who have passed away.

This fundraiser represents more than just improving our infrastructure; it embodies NPI’s dedication to preserving the legacy of those who supported candidates and students through their training, nurturing a passion for psychoanalysis and lifelong learning.

Let’s honor our past while paving the way for the future. Together, we can transform dreams into reality and fortify our institute’s foundation.

We invite you to join us on this journey as we shape the course for generations to come. This year, your contributions will support the redesign of our new website, aiming to enhance user experience, streamline marketing and recruitment efforts, and simplify interaction through our Portal interface.

We appeal to your generosity in supporting this cause. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to NPI’s mission and vision.  Donations can be made through our website or by calling our office at (714) 505- 9080.

We are therefore asking for your support. Your gift is tax-deductible and will benefit NPI and psychoanalysis for years to come.

We thank you in advance for your continued support!
